OcUK GUIDE TO ORDERING YOUR AMD 9070 GRAPHICS CARD TODAY AT 14:00

? That came out before the 9070XT so the 9070 XT are usually missing from the reviews. This is compared against the last 5070Ti which Techpowerup reviewed, just before the 9070 release, they aren't biased towards one manufacturer and are a neutral source.

Here's the last 5070Ti review Techpowerup did on a way above MSRP model. They compared to 7900 XTX at the time as 9070 XT wasn't out.

Sorry I should have said any reviews of Gainward GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Phoenix GS V1 because you said it's noisy

Overall the raster is still close, and it's still better at RT and dlss is supported better and dlss4 still has the edge

Fsr4 support is still lagging behind

The reviews also done with MSRP which isn't the case , just to get favourable reviews base models are not even close to MSRP

I was basing it on the MSRP MSI Shadow which shares a cut down design of the below Ventus 3x, which is pretty poor to start with. It's hard to find reviews of the budget versions of budget brands.
I did find a review that put the Gainward at a similar volume to the MSI though, so it wasn't a poor assumption. 40dBA at 300w load. https://www.gpureport.cz/recenze/48...provoznich-vlastnosti.aspx?article=483&page=4

It seems the MSRP models are silly loud. The Nitro is 26.5dBA from the same source and test. For every 3dBA it's double the sound intensity, around 10dBA increase is double what the human ear perceives as volume. Obviously some people don't care about this as wear headphones.

They're obviously more interested in churning out the premium priced Nitro cards to maximise profit, rather than Pulse ones so that retailers can buy in bigger volume and get prices down closer to MSRP.

Keeping MSRP cards in short supply on purpose while the premium cards are more plentiful.

Hi there

Arriving next week we have:

Sapphire 9070 XT Nitro x800 units
Sapphire 9070 XT Pure x200 units
Sapphire 9070 XT Pulse x400 units

This will cover all pre-orders and leave ample spare, with the special deal price on the Nitro and the stock volume this is now the obvious go to choice. :)
How do you stop yourself from building a little fort with all those boxes?

The MSI Shadow isn't the only MSRP 5070 Ti, the Palit Gaming Pro looks like it has a decent enough cooler.

Isn't that the same cooler design as its sister company Gainward, which I referenced in the comment and linked to a review, that has same loudness as the Shadow?

Nah AMD needs calling out more over their fake msrp, nvidia is hitting msrp but AMD because they lied wont cover the cost to AIBs or cut their margins. UK msrp for the 9070xt is £540 and here we have the base models at £650. Don't mention the ridiculous 9070 price.

Nvidia cards are not selling, that is why they are hitting MSRP,

no one wants 12gb vram in 2025.

The 5090 only existed on paper for a month+ and you can build a full ddr5 PC at that price, the 5070ti was priced too high making the 9070xt more appealing, and the 5060 is a joke with the 8gb vram variant being an insult.

Only reason Nvidia is hitting MSRP is because their rivals are taking away their customers.

I'm afraid this is misinformation. The evidence is now out. The reason we have MSRP in stock cards is because supply is high as well.

9070 not on the list yet. 0.18% share required to be on the all cards list.

They had a month head star and not every steam user is connected, let's wait a bit more. I notice the 5060 is also not on the list

That's also not true.

You should check again when the 9070 and 5070 cards were released. One day apart.

The 5070 Ti had a 2 week headstart.

Looks like it's to upsell you to nitro , don't see why pulse can't drop in price if nitro has
Im gutted about the price, I got a reaper at 640, was OK but after I had it i was bottlenecked by my CPU so ended up going all out with a full new build all kitted out with RGB so now my reaper looks like it doesn't belong kinda wish I had the Nitro no.
