not quite true... cash in a decent platform is still protected and also separated from the companies own finances.Well stocks are stocks.. You still own them as they are... Or you still own what's in your ETF...
If your stocks lose value or become worthless that's just how it is.
There's no protecting that.
It's just the uninvested cash in the s&s isa that's not got the protections that a cash ISA or normal savings account should have.

Hi. Any advice on what Vanguard fund to go for for this year's ISA. I currently have have 60:40 split of ESG Screened Developed World All Cap Equity Index Fund (UK) - Accumulation and VUAG. Just stick more into those, move some around or something completely new. I don't have a huge appetite for risk, hence the trackers, and I am very much just buy and leave for the next 10 years at least.
VDWXEIAFTSE All-World UCITS ETF (VWRL) ?

I think I would prefer an accumulating one but I am not 100% sure why...VDWXEIA
Cheaper still at only 0.14% OCF (but a tad unpatriotic as it excludes the UK).
FTSE Developed World ex-U.K. Equity Index Fund
That fund is accumulation.I think I would prefer an accumulating one but I am not 100% sure why...
Its going below $100. It beat earnings yesterday, but it needed to absolutely smash it out of the park to justify its insane valuationPalantir dropped 9% today so I bought that dip instead.
So it is. No idea why I thought differently!!That fund is accumulation.

Yeah that's a brave move, not one I'd have done. Whether the Fed hold or drop rates this week will likely cause more wobbles too.Its going below $100. It beat earnings yesterday, but it needed to absolutely smash it out of the park to justify its insane valuation
Weeeee after a good week it's time to hemorrhage a few $......
