Unfortunately we need two cars for the school run etc if I'm working. I have a long commute so the Seal is mainly for that. If we do a long trip away we'll probably use the Volvo, at least until I figure out things like the charging network etc, and just the whole electric car thing really.
There really isn't much to figure out these days, you set your destination, get in, drive it, and when the miles indicate low, you stop and charge it, then set off again. You can make it as easy or as complicated as you'd like, analysing charging curves, and optimal charger locations, battery pre-heating, calculating mpkWh with changes in speed/weather, look at which public charger costs the least etc. Or you can ignore that and drive it.
