Mafia: The Old Country

Maybe just the trailer but the gun play doesn't look fun at all even if it is probably kind of realistic hah.

Yeah just watched latest trailer, came away very unimpressed. Gun play looked bad and the way the cars drove looked bad to me. Hopefully just the trailer but defiantly didn't do anything for me

I loved Mafia 2, also played a bit of old version of Mafia 1, but need to try that remasterd one. Mafia 3 was crap, they put black person in mafia universe and ruined whole atmosphere - silly idea - more suitable for gangs etc, like GTA... Its like watching Netflix show - yeah, lets put indian transgender non-binary gay person as Al Capone. Brilliant ideas:confused:

This one looks nice, hopefully will have a good story and not too boring progress.

This looks potentially interesting, and possibly releasing in a couple of months - 8 Aug, 2025

Been needing something with guns after KCD2 (far cry already exhausted)

Yeah I'm really looknig forward to this. I've enjoyed all the games but controversially think I enjoyed 2 more than 1. Though I think it was more of an 'age' thing of when I played 2 and 1.

I quite enjoyed 3 and taking down the mob and it really expanded on the game by not being quite so linear. Lots to do, decent driving, little bit of stealth here and there. I'd go as far to argue it was the best game out of the three but not the best story. But that's because 1 and 2 feel like a Godfather rip off. 3 feels a bit more new.

Either way, I'm all ready for this.

i dunno why but i thought 3 wasnt that bad, a bit more of a open world going on? i dunno?

Same here, quite enjoyed my time with Mafia 3, especially the music vibe.

Thought it was misnamed though, had beggar all to do with Italian mafia.

Should’ve been called mafia but with a subtitle instead of a number as it felt weird being a mafia game with the objective to dismantle the actual mafia

Still a good crime game though and the change to open world was a nice switch. I’m happy for this to be linear again though
