I wouldn't call it quiet. That said I wouldn't call it that loud either in most games with an undervolt. Only something like 3d mark really uses enough power to make the card noisy.

I run it in quite a hot case too since I'm aircoolimg my cpu and don't have too much airflow. So potentially there's room for improvement still in a cooler case.

Cheers just working who is the coolest / quietist Cheapest 5090 i can get
 
eBay prices have tumbled lol. No chance for scalpers now. Seen a new Astral for a little over £2100.

I wouldn't ever spend that much with no warranty though I had a 2nd hand 4090 which I was happy with performance but was paranoid about it failing hence upgrading to a 5090.

I bet most of them abuse the Return system at various retailers - I hope most are over the return period and have to pay a restocking fee

I have the Extreme running an undervolt and it’s really quiet. Can’t hear it over my CPU AIO and that’s not particularly loud.

That’s in a Fractal Design 7 case which isn’t the biggest but it’s certainly not SFF either.
