SexyGreyFox (is alive and well [and living in Droitwich])

well he did give up band performances only to find band retirement is dull and so last time I saw him post it was in the guitar thread and he was back with new gear.

Hope he’a ok. \m/

Maybe hes busy with his groupies from his last gig using his new gear

Did anyone mention something about the pyramids yet that normally gets him engaged to tell us which ones he has visited, which one he paid a local guide to take him in that he wasn't supposed to etc.

Well, I had a moment with a cyclist this morning on the way in to work, could see from a mile away he was one of those "I'm a road user too so I'm going to cycle to the right of the lane so nobody can get past because I'm a cyclist and a road user and just as important as everyone else" - what he didn't factor in is that on my motorcycle, I don't need much space to get past. So I passed him on the right, but due to his road positioning, I almost brushed against him. Hundred meters or so down the road I'm at a red light, he comes past me and murmurs something so I pipe up "what's that?" which he obviously wasn't expecting. His response was that I came past way too close, so I told him I went past in the usual manner I pass everyone. He still insisted that I was too close so I told him to go read the highway code about road positioning, particularly the "keep left unless overtaking" part. He then cycled off. I went past him again, and stopped at the next light, where he promptly went straight through red. I caught him at the next light again and said he'd just lost all credibility as a road user by not adhering to the rules.

I then also told him he doesn't pay road tax so should wind his neck in and behave like the third rate citizen that he is.

Droitwich? Has he moved then?
Wasn't his last post about getting new windows for his home?
Did he get so fed up with the salesmen he decided to sell up and move within a month? lol

That's not the advice in the highway code though. It states a cyclist should cycle in the middle of the road. You cycle too close to the kerb and you'll have drivers trying to do dangerous overtakes.

As someone who rides motorcycles you should be aware of riding defensively.

I think you missed the point in my post :D
