I have a "big" birthday coming up so am really cynical with it all just now (aka becoming a moany old git!).

As @Junglist has said previous. It's entertainment. And was I entertained on Sat eve? Yup.

It takes a lot of heart to get into the ring. We all know this as that's why we watch and are entertained by it.

Respect to both fighters for Saturday really. It was a cracking battle.
 
Teofimo looking very sharp, easy win for him. Devon Haney up next, glad these fights aren't as late as expected. Main event with Garcia should be at around 1.30am.
 
nice to see the yank super stars all looking terrible. shows you how good they are and to top it off ryan garcia losing. absolute potato. never rated him and shown hes not world class.
 
The Haney fight actually put me to sleep, it was a truly woeful event. The idea to put a ring in the middle of Times Square and have such a small crowd did not pay off, the atmosphere was worse than the Saudi events and the fact the fights were dull didnt help.

Haney seemed terrified to throw any meaningful punches and if he did he was quickly on the run again, he seems scarred from the Garcia fight. Romero was totally overlooked in the Garcia fight as all the talk was about a rematch between Haney and Garcia, he well and truly put a spanner in the works. All in all, it was a poor show.
 
Great weekend if you weren't a boxing fan :D *edit* 3 of the 6 fighters I chose to tune in for decided they didn’t fancy it.

There must have been something good on I missed Shirley?

Canelo's really on the decline which tbh has to be expected given the number of fights he has had it's no wonder he's getting a bit shop worn.

Feel like the Crawford fight is a toss up Crawford isn't gonna be big enough to hurt him but will probably box rings round him. Can he avoid getting his chin checked though.
