I think we can all agree that this is the start of Alonso's title fight. 100% '25 WDC confirmed.
Wouldn't that be something, a rookie winning the WDC.I think we can all agree that this is the start of Alonso's title fight. 100% '25 WDC confirmed.
Norris reported issues inside his cockpit keeping his legs secure so let's see what he and the team say. But if his legs weren't secure then no doubt it would cause an impairment to drivingOscar's S2 and his last 2 corners were insanely good, otherwise Max has that P1.
Not ideal for Norris starting P4... although it could be worst and he could be driving a Ferrari.
He reported the issue before he commenced his final qualifying run, the team and him were discussing how to resolve it over the radio. I would think it quite disconcerting to have your legs flailing about in the cockpit whilst in 5g corners.Classic race driver excuses from Norris.![]()
The FIA have said the following about Bearmans time:
"The red flag was set at 16:32.17.6 seconds. Bearman crossed the line at 16:32.20.9 seconds with the abort signal/red flag showing on the start gantry."
Which seems to contradict the TV footage, but hey ho this is the FIA.
Seeing reports that the FIA are taking their timing from the start/finish gantry, rather than the actual point where the end of the timed lap is counted from. The FIA have said the following about Bearmans time:

Amazing, both Ferraris out in Q2. Yet people will say it's Hamilton and not that total dogwater Ferrari.
If Ferrari **** away Leclerc's talent without ever giving him a car to fight for a title (for an entire season) I'll always feel extremely bitter. It clearly isn't Hamilton. Yes, Leclerc is a bit faster at the moment but I expected him to be. Lewis was only a tenth and a half off one of the fastest qualifiers on the grid today, and both cars went out in q2.
The car is awful. I don't understand how they dropped so much down the order after almost winning the constructors and winning races last season!
Such a waste of two of the best drivers on the grid.
If Ferrari **** away Leclerc's talent without ever giving him a car to fight for a title (for an entire season) I'll always fill extremely bitter.
Also, rather comically, I saw that Leclerc's time last year in SF24 was quicker than his time this year in the newer 'improved' SF25 car.
Hamilton 0.15 away from leclerc quali time. Still having braking issues. Would suggest he still has the speed considering leclerc is one of the quickest on a single lap and the car really isn't up to it
They have, somehow, gone backwards. What a mess.
LH has never been great when he doesn't have a car that is perfect for him it's just that people have forgotten this and look at all his glory of when he had the best.
Which seems to contradict the TV footage, but hey ho this is the FIA.
Huh? The red light on the board to the left of the track is clearly visible before he crossed the line?
I was going off the Alex Brundle analysis on F1 TV where he showed the board on the gantry lighting after he crossed the timing line.
