Improving the cooking game. Cat will not be sous vided

1. Trying Huel over Yfoods - works out better value after Yfoods' shrinkflation ("Our customers definitely wanted 33% smaller bags, but to pay 22% more"). It's nowhere near as smooth (Pea protein doesn't mix as well as milk protein), but we've got a decent blender. Flavours are great.

Mix with oat milk and a blender. Thank me later.

12x of this and ginger beer, forgot how much like Calpol the root beer tastes, lots of primary school memories of being force fed Calpol if I said I had a headache and wanted a day off school

Have you tried Virgil’s? Can get it through Ocado. It’s the best root beer I’ve tasted of the ones you can get in the UK.

Lost the will to live after screwing and bolting these together. Doubt they will survive longer than wood up here.
Time will tell.
Yes I know they are wonky :p
Felt a bid stupid trying to get them perfect as the ground moves so much here seasonally.

How come you didn't go with railway sleepers? They are very easy to work with and if treated last for decades, just been helping my mum make up some planters in her garden.

My running shades snapped, last week.

Grabbed these in Primark for £1.50. utter trash but stick to my face nicely and are surprisingly sturdy!

The disparity in sunglass prices are insane, I have multiple pairs of rubbish glasses and a couple of pairs of Ray Bans, admittedly the RBs have held up massively well over the years, but they're not worth 100x more.

It's all about the lens for me, only Oakley seem to suit what I like the most with how their polarised lenses don't introduce internal lens reflections from stuff behind me whilst driving. This was a major issue with the Ray Ban polarised sunglasses I had and then sold in the past but Oakley seem to nail this area consistently so the price seems fairly justified due to that.

Yeah crazy aren't they. I'm quite fussy about lens quality - I like lenses I can just 'forget' I'm wearing; so far the only ones I've really found that I can do this with are Oakley, especially the polarised ones. Some other polarised ones I've tried always seem to have stupid compromises like clashing with my car screens and stuff, hugely irritating.

I am really wanting a pair of my old X-Metal Juliets but the price of them now are just stupid!

Derp, started replying but then got distracted - I've had exactly the same experience. I find the polarised Oakley lenses about the best around. Aren't Oakley and Ray Ban now owned by the same people? Essilor or whatever they're called.

Yes indeed, Luxottica and then the bigger parent company EssilorLuxottica. I think their factories in Italy make an awful lot of the big fashion brand names too.

Maui Jim's have some really incredible lenses and I'm looking for another pair, but I'll look into Oakley too, cheers for the recommendations all.

Oakley frame designs can be hit and miss is my only crit, I have the Holbrook in iridium and they are great but if I wanted to try something new then I'd be searching for ages and never find something nice looking to my eyes as I always stop by branches when out and about to try some on. The Holbrook 009 seems to be just right so will probably just keep those for as long as my head doesn't change size

Shame because I had their special edition Ferrari Scuderia carbon fibre ones from years ago which were awesome but one day got stolen and that was that :(

Problem with Oakley polarised (used flak jackets before iphone was a glint in ives eye ) is, now, looking at displays in cars/phones - otherwise, the unobtanium hangs on for running/cycling;

why couldn't we see the feline feet - diversity police.
