The Diddler

It's a tricky one and I think sex trafficking is going to be difficult to make stick. They'll need more witness victims than just Cassie because that looks consensual even if Diddy treated her disgracefully. I'd also bet some women on the jury won't have much sympathy to Cassie
can you even consent when your drugged up by a third party.

A person cannot give consent if they are under the influence of alcohol or drugs. This includes someone who is passed out.

The male prostitute said she wasn't on drugs the majority of the time.

Also that's a bit of a sexist ruling, because if 2 drunk people have sex, according to this uling the woman doesn't give consent and the man is therefore a sex offender. Yet people have had drunken sex since the begggining of time.

Having sex with someone who is passed out is a whole other level of depravity obviously

doesnt mean she wasnt on something to keep her obedient.

Seems like she willingly went along with most of it though.
power dynamics are one thing, but putting up with it for years
I think she said atleast 200-300 times? and each time could last up to 76hours..

You'd think most people would break and just murder the guy if she was kept on a short leash and controlled, so its going to be hard for her to win over a jury.

I just can't see how the length of time it happened for can't go against her, even if I wanna see him rot.

Doubt there's anything special about sexual misconduct and thuggery when rich singers do it. You don't have the hours in the day to read up every such case and the media knows that so they focus on stirring the pot with the spiciest names.

People will stay with partners that abuse them, hit them, send them to hospital for years.
It's one of the reasons so many people get killed by partners despite years of previous violent behaviour that you would expect to have driven them off, and why the police in the UK can proceed with a prosecution against a domestic abuser IIRC even if the victim refuses to press charges. People are not exactly completely rational when it comes to relationships, and there are certain personality types that do love to take advantage of that.

Add in the money P Diddy had, and the sort of people he likely knows/hangs around with and it becomes even more complicated.

It's a lot more complicated than "oh they don't stay if they don't like it", it's not uncommon for people to remain in exceptionally abusive relationships for years or decades, unfortunately all to often until the victim is killed or seriously hospitalised.

While all of that is true, he isn't on trial for domestic abuse, he's on trial for sex trafficking. And the defence have just shown evidence that she was complicit in orgainising the orgies

Come on now we all know that Cassie is not innocent in anyway, and also the way she is on a podium pregnant trying to get the jury sympathy is just straight weird, immunity or not she definitely part of this madness....on a side note alex Fine is a bigger person than me to be in the court hearing all that testimony of cassie's bring up the past even if he is aware or not.

She's not innocent no, but Diddy is quite literally the devil and has been for so long that people seem to have forgotten all of those little things he said over the years that on their own probably didn't register as suspect, but now,.... Now they take on a whole other meaning given what has been coming out:

(The Aaron Carter stuff especially, a man that stood up and spoke out , Kat Williams being another, thankfully he is still alive and kept his man card in original condition...):

Without the internet keeping a record of all of these and much much more we'd never realise the extent at which this goes and how much of Hollywood's elite are involved.

The algorthm seems to show them there most often lol.

Anyway, more news from the courtroom, new videos of the freak offs were shown with his daughters in the room, they upped and left as the videos started playing as reported.

I'm no Diddy fan but I find Cassie and the charges to not be at all credible. She essentially prostituted herself to have a rich boyfriend. The whole coercion angle is a nonsense. She could have left and got a normal job at any time, she instead chose to have an extravegent lifestyle paid for through her own prostitution. And now she has regrets about what she did but where's her own sense of accountability?

I'm sure he has done som illegal activities, but is this really a crime?

Jeez she was barely legal when they met, try and imagine being late teens and being exposed to somebody as rich and powerful as that

Wiki says she was 21 and stayed with him until she was 32. Why does society insist on infantilising women and pretending they don't have any intelligence or independent agency? Not only that but going back millenia young girls were taught the pro tip of not to be spreading their legs right, left and centre. But this woman somehow didn't figure it out until she was 32. Except all along she knew she was trading her body for cash and showed to be more than happy to do so in her text messages

19 when they met, 18 being the age of consent in most of the US which is what I was referring to

My point still stands though - many 21 year olds are naive and immature, I can certainly see why she could have been wooed and controlled by a 39 year old playboy billionaire considering the average 21 year old is impressed by guys buying a bottle of Grey Goose in their local nightclub

You seem to be pretty convinced otherwise and I doubt I'll be the one to change your mind

19 on first contact, wiki has the relationship starting when she was 21. Is the age of consent relevant there? But either way she said they didn't start the freak offs until a year into their relationship. And after that she is documented as showing plenty of enthusiasm towards said 'freak offs'. She stayed in a relationship with these freak offs for at least 12 years by choice. She was 32 or 33 when she decided to end her freak off fun.

It should be noted both her and Diddy were drug addicts.

I'm sure it wasn't a good relationship. But both genders can be horrible to their partners and that in itself is not a crime.
