Andor (Star Wars)

Watch the post credit scene, K-2SO says "lets stop over at Alderaan"

What post credits scene?

Is S2 better than S1? I'm halfway through S1 and it's 'ok' but I'm not blown away. The production / visuals are great, but otherwise it's just so so, so far.

Then it's not for you. The first half of S1 is some of the best TV ever made and it only gets better for the second half.

Well, we'll have to agree to diasagree there. It certainly got better in the episode with the heist (Ep6 maybe?), but until then it was definitely watchable, but it's no The Wire.

Just watched Rogue One again. Such a brilliant film and I appreciate it even more having watched Andor. How have they managed to **** everything up bar Andor since Rogue One.

Did luthen have to kill jung? Didn't jung mention death star, how come this wasn't related to clays? Eps 10 and 11 were good but 12 was a little disappointing.

Loved it, really enjoyed Krennic interrogating Dedra and his exchange with Partagaz (plus his final moments with the manifesto).

Edit/ also K-2SO saying about how he was all proud to be in the parade for the Emperor and then crushing the Imperial troops and ISB guy

Did luthen have to kill jung? Didn't jung mention death star,
Lonnie got a heads up from his mate about a Dedra running a tactical mission on Coruscant
He guessed it would be against luthen so he looked in her files (knowing they would find out, but he knows if Luthen gets interrogated he could be found out as well so may as well look then run for it) he then found out about the death star so "rang the big bell" to have crash meeting with luthen
tells luthen they will know he looked and be on to him
Luthen knows he has no time and must go now to trash the shop and get out - which he doesn't even really have time to do completely
There was no time to get Lonnie anywhere and Lonnie knows too much and would get captured to (and tell them secrets) - so he kills him
As soon as Luthen mentions Yavin there is no way he would do that (too risky) even if he wanted to take Lonnie there, he would just take him there (without saying where) he says Yavin to win Lonnies trust so he will tell him the info then kills him

I don't quite understand the secrecy behind the death star. In a final shot there is a fleet of star destroyers around it, that's thousands of people who knew about it.

Pretty easy to control what communications go out of a Star Destroyer though.

I watched the first 3 episodes then get stuck on episode 4 which I have restarted a few times and jut fallen asleep. It just feels a little too drawn out. Seems like the build-up is worth it so I'll get there eventually! Kids and a running obsession doesn't help matters, I'm knackered at the moment.

Finished watching it last night but now I'm left feeling a little deflated that there will never be any more episodes :(

Now go watch Rogue One again.

It is a shame no more, but we can try to hope that future Star War projects will be of a similar standard, though that will be difficult as Andor really did reach a high point in quality output.
