To be fair they’re getting better - it’s not been announced till August normally
Pg 84 onwards for new payscales.

I'm looking at FTRS, but nothing really taking my fancy atm. I check SERVE as part of my morning coffee ritual.

I’m going into a non-standard role - sponsored reservist with AirTanker, so normally a civvie but throw on a uniform if I need to deploy which means it doesn’t effect the pension in any way!
This military rumor is crazy, it's really not my experience at all. Far more relaxed, same level of work if not less and you can't be dicked for any **** duties without extra pay.

If I'm hiring, ex squaddies always get top priority. Their work ethic is generally second to none.
Dunno if Holidays for Heroes was widely known, but i used their services after after a few 'issues' returning from my umpteenth hot and sandy tours
They really helped me and many others with holidays to Jersey and activities when there. They even have an annual Bike Ride out, 500 bikes ride the island, my kids were taken as pillion passengers on some mega Harley's! RIP Lillian
