Summer Transfer Window 25/26 *Sponsored by Bigpig*

Probably too much for someone who’s not really played all that much football that past couple of years

If I was a second tier side who could accommodate him then I think he would be a good buy but probably not for £40m and almost certainly not for the wages he will want. Doesn't strike me as a player who is going to grow old gracefully.

That would be interesting, I don't think you even need Zubimendi unless someone is leaving.

jorginho left and partey well who knows what will happen

Latest from Sky Sports News senior reporter Dharmesh Sheth:

Arsenal’s move for Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi is expected to accelerate after the international window.

All details are in place for the transfer between the clubs after Arsenal agreed to meet the £51m release clause.

Furthermore, there is an agreement in principle on personal terms. It’s thought the deal has reached the medical stage.

Seems fair enough. That's probably the initial budget gone, now we'll be needing to try and offload players.

Garnacho, Rashford and Hojlund should raise at least £100m or so, but it won't be straightforward (and we'll end up subsidising some of Rashford's wage I'm sure).

They had the option to extend his contract so they held all the cards.

Where are you plucking these figures from?

hojlund has been hopeless since day 1
Garnacho has a high ceiling but mainly plays at the floor - appears to throw the toys out the pram too
Rashford - massive wages.

These players just avoided going down, they surely can’t command these massive fees!

Reminds me of JLingz, goes on loan. Performs well, should sell but for some reason just keep asking for way to much.

Garnacho £40-50m, Hojlund and Rashford £30m each? Not that much of a stretch. Garnacho will be in demand, he'll obviously be a good player.

Inter seem keen on Hojlund despite our asking price of £40m. There are other players for sale too. Raising £100m shouldn't be difficult.

German media are reporting that the Wirtz deal is now all but done and will be wrapped up early next week after the Nation's League is over.

Since napoli bid £42 million (ish) in January, your manager has come out and said he wont be playing for the club again... absolutely no chance you get 40plus for him.

You'll be lucky to get 80 for the 3 you've said

I guess we'll see.

Awesome. Pretty sure UTD have a sell on clause, so should collect some ‘free’ money.

Edit: quick Google seems to confirm the sell on.

Double edit: am I right in thinking that all of the sell on fee we’d get would be available to the new players kitty or does accounting/PSR shenanigans come into it?

Just think of it as a little nod for taking care of Villa for us:D

Mbeumo going, Frank favourite for Spurs, he’ll no doubt look to take at least one player with him, could be the start of a slippery slide
