The Witcher 4

I've not played any of the Witcher Games but have a new gaming PC on the way. Is it worth me playing all 3?
Yes, yes, yes!
In all seriousness, it depends on your interests. Witcher 1 is old and has a strange control system, but the story is great. I 'think' there's talk of a remake.
Witcher 2 is great, but to me felt a bit grindy at times.
Witcher 3 is a masterpiece (in my opinion).
I don't think there's any need to do the first 2, but 3 I'd always recommend. I felt sad when it finished as I had nothing else like it to go to at the time

Never played the first, but i don't think it has aged 2 well, controls and graphically, witcher 2 still looks pretty good, and witcher 3 and the expansions are must plays

Tries the first and second. Didn't like but partly due to the age of them by the time I tried.

Everyone said 3 was so great, so after it being out a couple years, I bought it. I was so bored playing it I gave up. Tried again some time later, same issue.

I heard cyberpunk was amazing so after it being out some years, I bought it. Bored even more than witcher 3.

I don't get why I don't enjoy their games, as from trailers I should.

Great news, there's going to be a TV series!

Sounds like gaming isn't for you, definitely not RPG's. Maybe fortnite? and COD?

My sentiments were same about 3. I did not play the first 2 and just got 3 on sale. Well worth the money and what a game it is, I still havent managed to find another game to fill the void of Witcher 3. In fact I am playing through it again now.

Witcher 1 - not worth it as it's 18 years old - there's a complete remake in UE5 (not remaster) coming soon anyway

Witcher 2 is great, but it's a console port and it can feel difficult to play - movement at right angles and invisible walls etc. I liked it at the time but would struggle to play it now as I hate console ports

Witcher 3 - best game ever made

Lol you think because someone doesn't like cdproject games, that some of the worst popular games would be a good alternative? No thanks. I wouldn't touch either of those games.

Kingdom come or another good quality rpg is perhaps what makes a better recommendation for someone trying to like switcher but not.

The Witcher 2 storyline was probably the best in the series, Witcher 3 still takes it as the best game ever made though.

I think if you dont like 2 awesome RPG's, your a kid who would prefer fortnite and COD yeah.......

I forgot about the W1 remake, that will certainly tide me over until W4 comes out given it took me like a year to finish W3.

All those ?'s on Skellige do take a bit of time.
I did them all in the first play through, every other playthrough I've had I ignored about 70% of them.

At some point the additional loot doesn't really matter as there's nothing to buy.

The side quests are better than the main story - same with Cpunk

I see this a lot, haven't played Cyberpunk, and whilst I agree somewhat - it's more accurate to say that a 'few' side quests are better. A large amount of largely forgettable filler side quests.
