*** The Official Nintendo Switch 2 ***

The user reviews on Mario Kart World seem to be all over the place. Lots of people seem to love it with others mentioning poor tracks, the world being dead/lifeless then a lack of 3 lap races and customisation?

Crazy times we live in where a new console releases with one new game and options to pay to upgrade your existing games….. Madness….
Nintendo has had many years to do new games considering how long this has been in development. So it's amazing there is only one new game on release, with Donkey Kong delayed until passed mid July!

Donkey Kong isn't delayed as it was always July. Nintendo know all they need at launch is Mario Kart becuase of how big it is, and they can pace out other releases over time to drive momentum.

I'm having a lot of fun with it but I'm not sure I prefer it over MK8D yet, the more I play the more I like it though and the extra space on the tracks is kinda neccessary (and making use of that space is key to winning).

I've been enjoying Knockout Tour online more than regular race mode.

I can't get my Switch 2 to work in docked mode at all - I just get no signal. Could it be because I have the HDMI going through a HDMI hub?

Thanks for the reminder, I just grabbed it from the eshop since it's only £4

I bought it too. A bit of nostalgia for under £4!
My favourite was Burnout Takedown.

This is crazy. Amazon must have to do something about this level of courier fraud. Assuming it’s not the warehouse people.
Looked on Reddit a couple of hours ago and somebody had 3 bottles of hair conditioner delivered instead of a Switch 2 ;)
Not happy at all last night but at least I have got it all sorted now which is the main thing.

That's right, none of the other consoles have!

Oh wait.... It's a fair ask to be honest
Even on the Steam Deck OLED, I have Plex installed, it is more PC than console, but there's no reason the Switch 2 couldn't have media apps. With a built-in stand and a nice, large, decent screen, I'd love to see Plex, Netflix, or Disney, etc., added.

Just finished transferring my account across, I'm quite surprised how good the screen is, it's not OLED quality in terms of inky blacks but the higher sharpness and resolution are immediately noticeable, viewing angles aren't too bad either, darker games like Hollow Knight and Ori will definitely take a hit but better than expected, extra size is nice too, it makes using the unit on it's stand as a 'mini tv' a lot more useable, the magnetic controllers are a nice touch, kind of feels how Nintendo would've liked it to of been originally, other than that system feels nice snappy and responsive.

Just downloading MK now, looking forward to giving that a bash.

I plugged my Switch 2 in my HDMI hub, but I am guessing the hub could not handle the signal output from the Switch 2. As soon as I plugged it straight into my TV, the dock worked perfectly
