Thomas Frank wants to make Brentford duo his first two Tottenham signings

Thomas Frank could take a couple of Brentford players to Tottenham if he joins the Lilywhites.

Thomas Frank is said to be keen to take Bryan Mbeumo and Nathan Collins to Tottenham with him if he quits Brentford to take charge of Spurs. Tottenham are eyeing up a move for the talented manager and may stump up around £10million to meet his release clause.

Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy is reportedly being urged by No.1 managerial target Thomas Frank to move for a Bryan Mbeumo alternative, while a timeline on the Dane’s appointment has also been revealed.

Spurs are close to striking a deal for Frank to replace Ange Postecoglou after the Australian was given his marching orders on Friday, just weeks after delivering the club their first trophy in 17 years.

I don't think Newcastle have the funds or the desire to sign premier league players, they are just so expensive. Plus with the current chief exec and football director situations there isn't actually anyone around to make these signings.
 
Frustratingly, City seem to have bought what I consider to be two good players in quick succession. Ait-Nouri and Cherki are two decent players for £60m combined in my opinion, the latter is not Premier League tested but has looked good on the ball when I've seen him play.

Yeah agreed, good signings and good value.
 
It's going to be fascinating to see Cherki under Pep. My friend is massive Lyon fan and raves about him and whenever I've seen him it's clear that he's hugely talented but at the same time he's one of these maverick, free spirit players that does what he wants and also incredibly lazy. He could be a revelation and we'll be talking about him as an absolute bargain or he could make Pep's head explode by October.
