Tried Zelda Breath of the Wild Switch 2 edition last night. Bit of a pain to install; had to find the Switch cartridge which installs 2.2GB, then do that silly Virtual Game Cards authentication for the DLC (install went to 11.ish GB) and then go to the eShop for the upgrade pack which shows as both free and £7.99 to buy (although as a NSO subscriber I could obviously download it for free). I think this increased the install to 22GB, or just under. So not smooth if don't own the Switch 2 version.
However wow...what a difference. I'm wasn't intending to play many Switch 1 games on the Switch 2, but this is a game changer for that game. Reminds me of the PS5 and Series X 30-60 fps upgrades for Assassin's Creed Origins & Odyssey (albeit those games already ran at higher resolutions via the PS4 Pro & Xbox One X upgrades). I can see me giving BotW more playtime as a result.
