*** The Official Nintendo Switch 2 ***

Mario Kart has always been infamous for it's rubber-banding, no I don't mean lag wise.

Cant decide if the Spigen screen protector is worth the extra cost or not!
Never usually bother with them on my devices but as this will be used by the kids etc. I think its probably worth it...

I'm on the Apple upgrade plan, and get a new phone every year on launch day. I've used Spigen screen protectors for the last 5 years on my phones. I go in with a new Spiegen in hand, and fit it before the screen is touched by anyone! The best way of making sure it's finger print / dust free. Haul off the protective packaging and drop it straight into the Spigen fitting contraption! They last for a full year - in and out of my pocket multiple times a day, without any peeling / marks / wear etc.
The installation is so simple with their guide - and I can only assume a Switch one would be the same.

On the flip side, I stuck a £3.99 screen protector on my Switch 2 (pack of 2 for £3.99). It came with a guide for fitting it. Not nearly as good as the Spigen one, but it went on relatively easily. Having seen videos of people testing the Switch 2 to destruction, I know the screen is pretty hardy. Having a £3.99 bit of glass to prevent any extra scratches is good enough for me. If this one bubbles / peels, I have a spare. If that fails too, then I'll maybe buy a better one.

I wouldn't bother, I got the Amfilm one and it is good enough, easy to put on and includes a full screen dust remover, which saves messing about.

Tried New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe yesterday on my Switch 2 - definitely an improvement in frame rate and visuals look sharper. Almost feels like Super Mario Bros : Wonder now. Also gave Captain Toad Treasure Tracker a go .... again faster frame rates but visuals don't appear to have been upgraded. Colours seem flat compared to other games, probably due to lack of HDR. Must give ARMS another try ... haven't played it since 2017/2018.

Mario Bros. Wonder is expected to get an update and 120FPS added at some point. ARMS looks great with the upgrade imo, but it always looked and ran quite well, one of my fave Switch games for sure.

Splatoon 3 looks very clean now too and frame rate is rock solid, making it feel more responsive - I wish I had more time to play it, being quite a competitive person I realised it's the kind of game I can't get really into without dropping other games. I put 300+ hours into Splatoon 2 so i've also kinda had my fill lol, for now.

Interesting about Wonder I hadn’t heard that. I played Arms to death when it launched and I own it digitally so maybe I should give it a go as it’s certainly unique and fun. I also played Splatoon 2 a lot though I wasn’t that great as I hate motion controls so couldn’t really compete at higher ranks. Had a blast for a while though!

Argos has a deal if you buy a game and a sd express card you get 20% off.

I would have got cyberpunk but it's out of stock :( might be a good deal if you want a card and maybe zelda.

Any game i might buy is not in stock in argos, not sure if theres a general shortage of stock or perhaps switch games are popular in south wales
