Not everybody wants to watch YouTube. Can we have a synopsis?
Irritating self-appointed "saviour of the tech industry" who whines like a little bitch every time someone says something has started a new channel to document all his endeavours.
Don't get me wrong, he's usually right, but his head is so far up his own arse he's probably creating a singularity somewhere.

Agree. Overall he's a good guy / channel. When he bores me with long drawn out stuff I fast forward or skip it.
Some people get tribal and too invested into YouTuber's doings, want to feel part of the drama etc.
This, drama gets clicks and views.

So you admit he's usually right but yet you seemingly manufacture your dislike of him based mainly on "feels".

Same can be asked for EVERY SINGLE company out there.
As far as I can tell he is the ONLY single Tech personality that actually pushes back on these companies, every single other big channel simply bend the knee and look soft as hell. Least Steve in person takes them to task. It utterly made up and bizarre the hate he gets.
It rubs people up the wrong way when he goes after things with such vigour, and at times I think he loses sight of what the average viewer cares about because he's so deep into the campaigning / protesting right now.
But it is crazy that people are getting annoyed that he's going after big companies when they've done stuff that's unethical.
When scandals break in the press there are always a bunch of people saying "Why did no-one do anything about this at the time", and that's what he's trying to do. I don't watch his videos these days, so I don't get why you'd object to someone holding companies to account - watching is entirely optional.

It is, but unfortunately society is full of limp wristed wet lettuces who no matter how noble the cause will moan and waaaaah to thier hearts content in the name of social justice or whatever fad has wormed its way into their thick heads.

I think he got the memo about people generally not being interested in the activism when he moved it into a new channel.
Incorrect, my dislike of him isn't manufactured, it's borne of his constant need to be the policeman of the tech industry, and this goes back many years, he's constantly looking for fights with everyone, for his own ego. He's taken on so many people over the years and it's very clearly gone to his head, so much so that he's started his own channel for it.
I stopped following him years ago, every now and then he pops up on here (like the LTT thing) and I have a little say about it, now again with his subpoena, and it seems that every time he appears again, it's for the same stuff. Whinge, whine, I'm right, hit subscribe, etc.
He is trying to do the right thing in an open manner. I see zero issue with that and quite like his style. Sure, he comes across like many geeks as on the scale (shows itself when he is in company) but doing good stuff for the right reasons.
