They keep raising the temp 32c now for monday thats hotter than the hottest day of the previous wave, work is going to be insufferable

Installing AC a month ago is one of the best buying decisions I have ever made. But the most interesting thing about it is in the bedroom we almost exclusively just use the dehumidifier setting and leave it running all night. The room doesn't feel so oppressively hot anymore, we're both sleeping a lot better, and even the wife said I stopped snoring!

Not aircon, but we also have a dehumidifier and a ceiling fan and have notice our sleeping patterns are much better when they are running.

Went to Thorpe Park yesterday, was in the queue for Hyperia for over 2 and a half hours. Clear sky, baking heat, and zero shade in the queue, they have planted a few trees which will provide some nice shade in about 10 years time. They did have some portable large fans which I got to experience elsewhere in the park and they were very nice, they weren't on though when I was in the queue. We really need to start designing things a bit better

I got to lug a packed cabin case around with me from Cardiff trainstation to London Paddington then Heathrow then around Stockholm.

Hopefully it's not too hot as I'm not packing any shorts..
