It's too hot :(

It's not been quite hot enough here yet to roll out the AC (about 26c in my room at the moment), but if it gets any hotter it definitely will be. Until then I've just got my Levoit pedestal fan at one end of the room and my new Shark FlexBreeze wherever I want to put it :)

Speaking of bugs, I rode through a massive herd of them, quite a few of which ended up in my teeth before I got my visor down..

Millions of the buggers around at the moment.

Hope you're not vegan

It was supposed to be over by tuesday now it looks like its dragging on till thursday at least with tuesday now the hottest day, jesus. They keep revising the forecast bet it'll go on till the end of the week
I saw some madness that claimed on Wednesday there was going to be lightning? Then rain Thursday, then back to madness Friday onwards?

Still 20C outside now, but cooler than our lounge, snail paced miniature second ride of day at sunset...

After shocking the world and heading out just before 1100 for almost two hours, when it was surprisingly still 20C.

What fans do people here use? Seen some nice ones on Amazon but not sure if it is worth spending £100.

This is the one I was looking at:

We have a generic fan that is loud and doesn't push air that well, a Dyson AM03 which has better air concentration but is even louder and was expensive, and then the godsend Meaco Sefte pedestal fan in the bedroom. It was also pricey, but is pushes serious air and is very quiet, the up down left right oscillation is also pretty sweet. So impressed by the Meaco I picked up a smaller previous gen version refurbed for the office.

We have the Meaco 1056 air circulator. The oscillation (up/down and left/right) is good and it shifts a similar amount of air. These are probably as good as it gets without going for aircon.
