Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 Remastered

I've tried the thps2 remaster and it doesn't seem to have clicked with me like the originals.

Alternatively I've been playing skate 3 on gamepass and had more fun on that.

Weird as it's the same game, the feel of it is very similar

But maybe you just prefer skates style which I understand as I do too

I wish skate 3 was natively available on pc or ps5 as I can't stand the latency with gamepass's cloud streaming

3 was the sweet-spot for me but I didn’t play the others much. Tried the 1-2 remaster but it felt off somehow. Soundtrack in 3 was so good hope they can mostly replicate that.
 
Loved the 1&2 Remaster - this will be an essential purchase for me - will be worth it for THPS3 alone if you are not fussed about release day and give it a few months for the price to come down. Hoping for a few more of the original tracks get dragged over, can't see the sense in the artists/publishers withholding it from a remix as must be a win win surely?

I seem to be more tuned to other control styles now. Skate has maybe screwed it for me. I like doing tricks using the stick instead of buttons.

I might give it another go and persevere.
 
I'm really looking forward to this coming out mostly for the THPS3 levels, I spent many hours playing the PC version online via my trusty 56k connection :P

It's reported that Bam margera is back in the game after Tony hawk recently personally demanded he be added

New gameplay video was released today and there is no timer visible on the HUD. So perhaps the timer was removed or the rumour of THPS4 having a timer was BS

I put an absolute tonne of time into the Tony Hawks games. THPS 2 on Dreamcast,then THPS 3 and 4 on GameCube. Absolutely loved those 3 games. They don't make them like that anymore do they.......
 
I felt like at £39.99 this was a lot more expensive that the last one, but I checked my emails and sure enough I paid the same for it on my PS4, then a few months later I paid another £10 for the PS5 upgrade!
 
Anyone been enjoying this today? This is a massive throw back to my childhood as 3 was technically the first Tony Hawk that I "owned" as it was part of a Christmas present along with a PS2 back in 2001, (Only ever played THPS1 when I went to my cousin's house), and they haven't disappointed, it's fantastic! Been going through and hundred percenting 3 just as I did when I was a kid all that time ago.

Now 4, I did have it when it came out in 2002 and I never could get into it, just didn't enjoy the maps and there wasn't as much banter from like the NPCs you got from 3, be interesting to see if my opinions have changed when I start 4 once I've finished Fanboying over playing 3.
 
Not out on gamepass yet so I can't try, but apparently 4 is massively scaled back - 2 min timer, smaller levels and some levels missing


I really want a thug1+2 remake but im
Worried they'll mess it up

Bought the preorder pack. Playing now.

Performance is great for me, dunno about weaker systems though. I'm getting 120fps at 4k with DLAA enabled
