Yup! Didn't fancy it to start with as PB accent in the trailers was terrible. But kept getting recommendations from people who had seen it, so gave it a go - loved it!

If you like lock stock, snatch etc, it's similar. Tom Hardy is a mob family 'fixer' and it's brutal.

Haha, it wasn't just me that thought that accent was 'interesting' in the trailer then! I liked the trailer mind. Yeah I love stuff like this, and like Tom Hardy in pretty much anything too!

Yeah I was hoping the reviews were legit, as I watched something recently that had high ratings on there, I forget what it was (it was that memorable) and it was terrible, but in a blatant attention seeking cliche box ticking, so it made me question IMDB reviews or a bit.
 
Noticed XFiles is back on prime the other day started to rewatch it. Think I got to season 4 previously.

Still working my way through Supernatural.

Wow, just shows how different people view comedy. Not that Schitt's Creek is bad (though it took me the best part of the first season before I actually started to like it), but there are far better comedies out there. Obviously this depends on your taste but, Friends, Parks and Recreation and The Big Bang Theory were all much funnier in my opinion. Then there's Psych, Brooklyn 99, Scrubs, Frasier and Cheers, and that's just American shows. From the UK there's Blackadder, Fawlty Towers, Only Fools and Horses, Red Dwarf (the earlier seasons), The Office, Extras to name but a few. All better (in my opinion) than Schitt's Creek.

Well yes, you just proved that very point by saying 'The big bang theory' was funny ;)
 
I managed a whole two episodes of Schitts Creek and even that was a struggle. Truly awful although not as bad as Friends. I wouldn't even entertain Big Bang Theory.

Fair enough, we shall see. The Gentleman series was like that though - I just wanted that brother to GTFO and the story to get on with it.
