Every time Novak has an injury time out he goes on to reel off 3-4 games on the bounce. Need to re name it, I'm not inured its a disturb the momentum of the other player timeout

And realistically, if Dimitrov hadn't had to retire last round, there would have been a very good chance of Novak getting through against him this round

Presumably because Djokovic's movement is way off its usual, whereas Sinner is banging down 100mph forehands.

If it's an adductor injury that wouldn't do much. And I'm pretty sure his physios would have considered options before the match, and during the physio call mid match

Novak made it to the semi final, could have been the final, the commentators need to stop chatting nonsense about age and leaving the stage. Sinner is also exceptional.

@jonneymendoza He’s getting on, he’s now no longer good enough to beat these two (J.S and C.A). So is going to face one or both in every tournament now. Winning that gold meant he’s completed tennis and his level has dropped. I honestly thought that would have given him the upper hand against C.A as he’s bottled that final when being infront. Even after being able to beat him in wimbledon finals.

Normally when he pretends to be injured the guy at the other end of the court goes on tilt, these two know the gig and don’t fall for it.

He’s only got a couple more things to go for;

Outright GS leader (seen as we’re in 2025) which will come along with being the oldest. Won’t win all 4 in a year now.
Most single titles - he’s <10 behind IIRC
10 YEN1 - he has 8 won’t get that now, he’s a year off being beating Rogers record for longest span between first and last n1 and he’s not getting the consecutive.

Father time is always going to win!

I guess he could spend the next couple of years working on his PR and not come across as such a massive knob head.

And having said all that J.S shouldn’t even be allowed to play tennis.

I agree. Sinner is a drug cheat and should not be playing tennis
