Extension Lead

What brand of Extension Leads do you use for your PC equipment?
Is it any simple with surge protection, or do you pick some specific brand?

I'm looking for a 8 way Extension Lead.

"Extrastar 2 Gang Surge-Protected Extension Lead 2M Black, 13A" I have the 1M and 2M 6 plug versions, each socket has a lit up switch, which I really like to have versus all of them being live constantly or having to turn off all at once - surge protection too

I looked at some of Belkin ones - at least known brand, not like 99% of the stuff on Amazon.

Surge protectoers are just regular extension leads with a Metal Oxide Varistor in them, so there isn't a functional difference in terms of protection between brands or price ranges.

I've got 2... As I have 2 PC's (one on bedroom and one in living room) and associated tvs and monitors etc.

I rewired my desk this weekend, got two tapo smart extensions as they were only 4 plugs each, i really like being able to turn things on and off remotely.

I ended up buying Masterplug. Looks solid, simple. I guess this is all you need from it, just work

I use Olsen units, bit more cash, but handmade and in the UK.

I use apc ups for main pc and always use anti surge cables on spare pcs.

Belkin with surge protection.

Some are with a switch, some not.

Really should look at an APC though.
