Mateta is too old for me, he'll be 29 at the end of next season. As a Jota replacement, I'd take Mateta, similar age, but not as a new first choice no.9
What do you think of the Gallagher links to replace Longstaff and maybe Willock?
Think it'd be a great addition if it's long staff out and Gallagher in. Depends how much he's learnt from his time with Simeone. How will know all about how Someone can change a player. I would guess he may of spoke with him directly if there's any substance to the link.
I'd be happy with that swap out, no point in keeping hold of Diaz if he wants to go. Wonder whats happening with Guehi, seems to have gone all quiet on that front
I'm not going to pretend to have watched a lot of him but the other month I saw a last 40(?) shots video and I swear he miss-hit 39 of them. Fingers crossed our eggheads know more than us though or else we'll just have to take Isak in January.
I suspect it'll happen once Palace tie up his replacement.
Mind you, I recently watched a video of Isaks last 25 shots and he only scored 3 of them (ignoring penalty shots), those videos can be quite misleading

Losing Wissa and Mbuemo sees us drop 40 goals from last season. That's a lot to replace. We have Igor Thiago already here, but I imagine we'll be forced to buy.
