It's too hot :(

Reminds me of a downpour back around 2007, hammering down when I was about to finish work. Decided I wasn't going to wait, jumped on my bike and there was ~4" of water through the 10mins of rolling hills back home.

Today there was a weather warning in Hampshire, but we've dodged it again, not a drop of rain.

Looks like we finally getting the rain at the weekend. Until then 33/34 Celsius predicted. My council were about to poop the bed about hose pipe bans too.

Oof Cyprus isn't looking agreeable. That's too hot even for me. It's going to be a shock!

Depends on the humidity - my sister has visited Cyprus when the temperatures were well north of 40 but low humidity so it wasn't too bad.

That's true my family says it's around 23% at the moment - but they all have AC there anyway. August is looking better at around mid 30s.

Nothing like the hell it would be in this country with how humid it generally is when it is hot though :s 40+C here would have even me investing in AC.
37C approx three years to the day at 1130 while on delivery, having started early due to warning, was horrendous!

Had 2l tap water in trolley, drenched wide brim hat and drenched cooling towel.

Most of the depot made their own h&s call around midday to stop and go home.

Are we in a heatwave? No.
BBC said:
Temperatures will rise a little, generally reaching 18-24C (64-75F) but perhaps peaking at 28C (82F) in south-east England on Friday.

These values are a little above the seasonal average but certainly do not come close to a heatwave.

August:
BBC said:
Dry, hot weather is far from guaranteed in August - in fact it tends to be the wettest of the summer months, with the UK typically recording more rainfall overall than in June or July.

So it's like a long stretch of sun now but might be a bit of rain veering towards August

Mist admit it's getting warm here today supposed to get to 27c but feels quite humid.

Aircon has gone on again today, sun is shining so the solar will cover it.

A sneaky unexpected heat attack this afternoon in Hampshire, lots of 26-28C reporting Weather Underground app stations.
