Life got in the way of my hobby for an extended period of time, and now I'm back at it with some actual time to spare and ready to engage with communities again.

Yup it's another MM post. I already know how this is going to go, but I'm here to be added to the list of disgruntled users who were excluded for no real reason. It's also time for an upgrade that hasn't happened for over a decade, gonna need to spend a lot of money!

Elsewhere of course, because I'm obviously not going to be able to catch up on posts before finally upgrading my setup without getting banned for spam. Very strange choice to push potential customers into untrustworthy auction sites and marketplaces but hey, that's the way it is. And during the worst economic times in nearly 20 years no less. What an interesting choice.

So I'm going brand new, somewhere else. I just love photocopying!

E: This wasn't a plea to get it reinstated, as if I have any trust here anymore.

The asocial are unwelcome here. Seems pretty discriminatory to me, but what do I know? Message received loud and clear.

nope, there was a real proper reason. to keep people like you out of it - and by that, i mean people like you that do not (in general) contribute to the forums.
so you're going to go and buy your new gear elsewhere because you're not allowed to buy used gear from the MM here......that's some big brain thinking right there hoss.

@Mods - Don't you dare flipping close this :mad:... It'll be a reet laff :D :p
They should sticky this thread - as a perfect example of why the rule was brought in. OP’s ‘involvement’ with the forums over the years is heavily based in the MM. Not been posting in years then drops in to have a whine because they don’t have access.

Hello competitors.

This is an MM post.

What sort of competition is he running? Cos if it's milky manmuck competition I'm out!

381 posts in 15 years and roughly half of them were exclusively in the MM.

These rules were brought in specifically because of users like you.

Preach on, brother newman.

I'm quite impressed by just how tone deaf the OP is. It's rare these days to misread a situation so completely and think that you are not the problem!

I didn't go as far as to look where he'd posted, but noticed the join date and post count and did some maths to see he'd posted around 25 times a year.
Possibly less, given the post count for MM access in 2010 was 250, so potentially less than 10 posts a year since gaining access.
