Yup they won't care mate, if they've done bare minimum they are good, those certain sites also think the whole thing is ridiculous.
it's all literally virtue signalling and increasing VPN sales, some MPs are probably on the take being lobbied is my conclusion.

We all know how desperate VPN companies are to try and sell their product ,even though 90% of people had no reason to use them really.

why wouldn't they start lobbying mps and capture a lifetime subscription base.

apparently people are getting around the new age verification with stock photos of driving licenses etc from google images or getting AI to fabricate them :D

some people said it helps if you edit the photos so it looks like a hands holding the driving license.

remarkable if true...
Did exactly that this morning.

For testing purposes you understand. :o

It’s about protecting kids and for that, I’m all for it. You can argue kids will be kids and all the rest of it but that’s not the point, there’s wider reaching impacts.

I’m hopeful this eventually spans to social media, the youth are having their brains rotted away.

kids can use a vpn in 2025, complete over reach. UK is up there with north Korea for privacy invasion.

Personally i would argue kids shouldn't be on the internet without supervision in the first place. Legally speaking they're not old enough to enter into the sort of contract that would be need to access it so if they're using the internet it's with their guardians permission.

That argument’s too sensible for GD Murphy
