Death Stranding 2

The first game reviewed well too but once more people starting getting it people started realising just how boring it was though :o

Well I absolutely loved it, along with a lot of people, so I guess I'll likely be fine. :)

But yeah, very much Marmite.

Watching the DF vid on this makes me want to finally play first game, I think after I'm done with Metro Exodus and next game I'll tackle it

I thought it was fantastic and will be getting the sequel the second it's available!

It's one of those games you really shouldn't watch too many talking heads on YouTube though.. Just go in blind and enjoy.

I've a friend who ruins his gaming enjoyment by watching videos to death before playing and then staying it's boring... I mean, of course it's boring, if you've watched hours of reviews... No point playing any games in that case.

I know someone like this, I'll recommend that they play a game, that I've just finished, they tell me "no, but I watched a streamer complete it."
I've tried explaining why this is ruining something that they would have enjoyed themselves, as they don't deny liking what they've seen? I then say imagine how good X would have been if you'd done that part yourself, and how fun the gameplay is to play if you enjoyed watching it, "yeah but I've seen it, I know how it ends." etc

I don't get this mentality? You're spending the same time physically watching someone else play it, as you would yourself? There's no gain here?
They obviously like the game, or they wouldn't put themselves through watching hours of that for days? Surely you'd watch a bit of it, fall in love with it, then go buy it?

I don't get it either, at all.

Really looking forward to this to be honest, I enjoyed the first one, currently looking for something to play so might actually reinstall it and play through it again.

I actually bought the directors cut upgrade after completing the original but I've not played it yet.. Apparently it's got some more stuff going on but I can't remember the details

There were times I found the actual gameplay of DS1 quite boring, but I really liked the story. I really hope we don’t have to wait too long before it comes to PC

I was the opposite.. I found the story interesting but I just loved navigating the wilderness lol

I think boring was probably a bit too harsh from me there :D I think I just lost interest after a while - but the landscape was absolutely stunning

I think they did an incredible job making it scaleable too - I was only running it on a 6600k , rx480 @1080p and it's a shockingly graphically stunning game even running on that.

EDIT...Hmm it seems there is a user called 1080p
