Wait...on that wall of names... Adm Harry S.L Kim ? Harry Kim became an Admiral ?!?

Didnt look like my cup of tea to be honest, trailer looked like Star Trek The Teen Angst edition. I thought they were all going to break into song at any minute like High School Musical or Glee or something

Watched the trailer and cringed at all the hugging, smiling, overly loud f'ing music then raised an eyebrow when I saw the legend that is Robert Picardo and is that the Discoballs engineer character at 1:21?

Wouldn't be surprised about Harry Kim, he is one of Starfleets most experienced officers given his time on Voyager etc. Guys a legend!....who once flew the ship into an ice planet...
 
I can say with 100% confidence this is going to be garbage.

Ok i watched the trailer, it's definitely a discovery spin off. I mostly liked Tilly and Reno and the doc from voyager however the rest of it looked ****. Unless they play this like a live action lower decks with different away missions and light hearted japes etc then it will be doa.
 
Star Trek original series was great. Next generation was great. Film spin offs were very good. Thereafter the rest is garbage. YMMV. But you're wrong ;)

Lower decks was a breath of fresh air.
Strange new worlds was ok/good.
Star Trek: Prodigy - kids tv. pass
Picard was garbage and im sad for Patrick Stewart

Anything Kurtzman is worse than dog poop.

The mega Trekkies have pointed out that there should not be female Jem'hadar so it is instantly a turn off for them.

Will probably watch the first couple of episodes. I need to watch the last two seasons of Disco though.
 
Nice to see Robert Picardo again but this just has the look of something that was talked about (the academy) but only very occasionally seen. Probably should have been left it that way.
