New mouse, I started to get a little annoyed with the creaking shell of the F01 Magnesium, not what I was expecting from such a high priced mouse, so I figured I'd check out one of the latest even lighter models, quite like the colourway more as well, something different.

And why the name?

no it's the way the plastic base is constructed to fit around the magnesium shell, those plastic areas soften over time and rubs against the magnesium sides of the shell when you grip iot causing creaking.

The other thing is it seems the sensor has been reworked in the new mouse even though it is exactly the same sensor still, Pulsar seem to have not updated the FW on the Feinmann for ages now yet have for the X2 along with different software. I did some tests:

I'm tempted by one of these, they look pretty good for a Chinese car, shame it'll tank in value though, I might wait a year and see what the 2nd hand market is like before I commit to one.

Indeed. There are bargains to be had, even now. I got this one with less than 4k miles, not even 5 months old for £36k, considering a list price of £48.6k that's quite the 'bargain' :).

The new one is a 3 seater and is actually sized for 3. The living room one is technically a 3 seater but is oversized, probably seat 5. Very good for chilling on.

(Wife snapped me napping)

Is that LiE, lying down. Also people, LiE is 4'10". This is just a regular 3 person sofa. New builds use LiE to make their furniture look bigger than it is.

Yep, Wera are the best for allen keys. When we hire new staff, it's one of the few things I really insist on. Our finance lady always wants to get the guys those cheapo, nasty, not-even-deburred allen keys so I have to tell her with almost every new starter, that they get the Wera stuff. It's not even that much more expensive.

Their screwdrivers sets are excellent too.

Corrrr top work @Diddums x - yea I’ve got the wera VDE screwdrivers and they have a great feel. I’ve had mine about eight years and still going strong. I keep the little bit set with ratchet and stubby grip in the car.

I’ve only ever come across snuff in Scandinavia before, although I read an article the other day that suggested teenagers are getting hooked on it too (due to the price of cigarettes and an alternative to vaping). They said you get some nasty burns on your gums as a consequence, have you experienced that? Looks like your gums will be in a bad way if that is the case
