*** The Official Nintendo Switch 2 ***

3rd party direct tomorrow. 25 minutes long too so hopefully quite a few announcements to be made.
I know it's 3rd party but they sometimes drop in their own stuff sometimes and there was that story about Metroid 4 being rated in Korea or somewhere. Hoping it's still on track for this year. More 3rd party releases in general this year would be nice too.

I think Metroid will just get it's own dedicated direct in a month or two.

Looking forward to the partner direct though, we may see something from Ubisoft in this one, maybe more from Capcom too.

3rd party is it's at to be honest.

Well that was 3rd party. A lot of 2026 and ports of existing games. Maybe Metroid will get it's own Direct out of the blue later.

Pretty much everyone is feeling the same way...

Nothing in the partner direct really interested me, I'll give the Adventures of Elliot demo a go though.

Think I'll mostly be playing MKW alongside one or two other multipayer games until Prime 4 and Silksong are out.

Almost certainly, or there'll be a general direct and it'll be in that.

Just watched the showcase and er nothing interested me at all. The last two games looked exactly the same; you woulda thunk whoever put that together would have reordered them.

Lol people just seem to expect the impossible, and are very entitled and impatient.

Switch 2 has barely been out 2 months, plenty on the horizon for a new console (and for Switch 1), and we already got a new MK and a 3D DK game, some people are never happy.

Nintendo also don't tend to announce new games (or release dates) these days until they are closer to release, no doubt they are cooking up plenty.

Yeah that was a bit jarring, I suppose it makes sense to keep them together tho.

Got that one as well, both Diablo games and Streets of rage 4. Can't decide on Metroid Remastered...

An excellent game. Still holds up brilliantly IMO. One of my favourite games of all time though so perhaps I am biased.

And yeah, 95% of Nintendo directs are garbage or at least of no interest to most people. This has been the case for god knows how long.
