WAR OF THE WORLDS

It's War of the Worlds so will give it ago, but am prepared to be disappointed going by the trailer.

Think i have seen most if not all versions including the BBC adaption.

I watched the first season of the Anglo French TV series but never got round to the other seasons.

I do prefer the 50's movie but the Tom Cruise one is a very close second.

Listened to the Jeff Wayne version so many times and the stage version on Sky Arts was good to (the one with Jason Donovan and Liam Neeson)

Tried watching a sequel on the SCI-FI channel but could not finish it, truly awful.

Same for me, I like the general story of War of the Worlds so watch most adaptations.

In hindsight I wish I didn't see the 3rd season of the Anglo French one, it already was a bit rubbish midway through the 2nd!. The BBC version was around the same time (much cheaper) and I think it was slightly better overall.

Makes you wonder who signs off on films like these, and who puts up the money.

Maybe it's a tax dodge like the plot of The Producers! :p

Shouldn't waste my time with pensionercubes war of the worlds but ill have it running like an app in the background.

Wish they did a tv series reboot of it.
