It's too hot :(

That sounds like my idea of hell
A mate was in Aus, and said it was 42C in the shade, and that wasn't even a hot day apparently :(
It would be horrific without A/C to keep it comfortable at 23-24°C indoors. Without A/C it would be 27-28°C.

Fingers crossed the forecast of mid-high 20s next week comes true.

Now I am here it's not too hot just warm , pretty quiet mostly people arriving on private boats, nice breeze

Stop da boats :p

Definitely feeling too warm for me today though I'm still just about refraining to drag the portable AC out. Another couple of degrees though and it's definitely coming out!

During the 4 heatwaves I can only remember using the fan at night a few times - leaving the window open and letting in the cool breeze was enough :)
When I leave the windows open anytime after 8PM, I end up having a Mexican standoff with mosquitos! They fly past your face then hide until you goto sleep, then do flybys past my face like Maverick buzzing the tower!

This has been the only summer I can remember where I only had to deal with mosquitos a couple of times! In the past, there would always be a couple squeezing through the windows each night.

I killed 12 recently one night! Coaxing them out with a headtorch and standing still like I was fooling the T Rex in Jurassic Park, then SLAP!

My kids wanted me to take them to Thorpe Park this week and I said no chance lol. You can't enjoy the rides when the temps are close to 30 degrees. Next week will be much better at around 22 degrees!
I bet that went down well :P

A colleague of mine went to Thorpe Park a few weeks ago, came back with very bad sunburn on his face

Queuing for hours with little to no shade is a killer...

I caved and pulled out the portable aircon. Its ok outside but indoors its stifling. Theres no end in sight to this its continuing into next week as well. Its not only europe having record temperatures Israel, Jordan have been seeing nearly 50c and nighttime temperatures not dropping below 35c
