If approx. 325 of us chip in a million each, we should have enough to cover it.

Up for auction, Motor Yach Amadea.

Yes, I know, these things are up for auction all the time, but the difference is that this one is being auctioned off by a government, who have given the broker permission to advertise it however they want, so we have a full gallery, video, full 3D tour, the lot.

It's extremely rare to get an inside peek at these things, and this is absolutely spectacular.

Ah yes, one more thing, the running costs are estimated at £10-15m per year.

Never understood the appeal of something like this, but I guess most of it comes down to bragging rights.

Just looks like a hotel inside...

I can see the appeal of living full time on something like that if you've the money, although perhaps something a little less grand.

Nice slow pace of life, travel the world in supreme comfort etc.

Trust me, the people who can afford this kind of thing live a very different reality to us peasants. I worked for a multi-billionaire for two years. Not in his company, for him. Driving his cars, sorting his homes, the lot. I had a very deep insight in to how these people work, and it changes your perception on life.

To them, this is just another one of their toys.

Side note to this, I never saw that dude truly happy. Two years I worked side by side with him, and not once did I see him experience true joy.
