Indiana Jones and the Great Circle (2024)

Performance is grand from 4080 upwards with path tracing. DLSS (using performance mode) and frame gen gets you a very playable 100+ FPS.
I have a 4080, it's not fine at all. The developers clearly forgot to keep the PT demands consistent across the levels / maps which means performance is very inconsistent and distracting when moving into new areas which clearly are not as well optimized.

I found myself disabling it completely on some of later levels.

Which maps/levels? For the most part I found performance pretty consistent throughout, the jungle at the start and Shanghai were probably the hardest hitting compared to others. Did you reduce the texture pool/cache setting? As that might explain it if vram was being overflowed. I didn't play until March though, which the game had a few patches by that time so maybe was more an issue on launch.

FPS in this game is so level dependent.

Some levels are around 60-70, others go up to 100 whist others can go as low as 40.
Sukhothai, which is the third "hub" area tanks performance. I was getting low/mid 40's there too playing in 4K. All the other areas were over 80 fps.
