I sense it’s just gonna be a toxic environment more than a typical football atmosphere.Monday night football will be amusing this week, it will be 90mins of football and 3 hours of Isak talk pre and post match
Yes you can, for up to 12 monthsGiven that you can't just keep fining a player every week I imagine he'll be just fine.
Source?Yes you can, for up to 12 months
It’s in the premier league contractSource?
Exactly, so a maximum of 4 weeks, certainly not just fining him week after week as you claim.It’s in the premier league contract
The duty’s and obligations of the player
The Player agrees:
3.1.1 when directed by an authorised official of the Club:
3.1.1.1 to attend matches in which the Club is engaged;
3.1.1.2 to participate in any matches in which he is selected to play for the Club; and
3.1.1.3 to attend at any reasonable place for the purposes of and to participate in training and match preparation
He’s in breach of all 3
Disciplinary Penalties
At a disciplinary hearing or on an appeal against a disciplinary decision, the Club may dismiss the allegation or if it is proved to the Club's satisfaction may:
give an oral warning a formal written warning or after a previous warning or warnings a final written warning to the Player;
impose a fine not exceeding the amount of the Player's basic wage for a period of up to two weeks for a first offence (unless otherwise approved by the PFA in accordance with the Code of Practice) and up to four weeks for subsequent offences in any consecutive period of 12 months but only in accordance with the provisions of the Code of Practice;
order the Player not to attend at any of the Club's premises for such period as the Club thinks fit not exceeding four weeks; and/or
in any circumstances which would entitle the Club to dismiss the Player pursuant to any of the provisions of clause 10 of this contract dismiss the Player or impose such other disciplinary action (including suspension of the Player and/or a fine of all or part of the amount of the Player's basic wage for a period not exceeding six weeks).
For each offence, they are 3 currently, so 14 weeks in totalExactly, so a maximum of 4 weeks, certainly not just fining him week after week as you claim.
That would be a massive breach of contract and allow us to sue and withhold his registrationhe should agree to play, then just jog around the halfway line and not bother chasing anything, be subbed in the 1st 10 minutes. he'll be sold straight after![]()
Maybe Utd should do that clause on all there rubbish xDThat would be a massive breach of contract and allow us to sue and withhold his registration

Neither party are looking good in this really.
If Isak was indeed promised something, it's not a good look for potential players wanting to join Newcastle as a stepping stone, young talent will go elsewhere.
Isak is just looking like a bit of a prat, but can understand the frustrations if there was an agreement.
The sheer number of players that clubs could sue on that clause is enormous. In almost every match ever there is a player who isnt playing to the best of their skill and ability. Dele Alli, Balotelli, Pogba and Marcus Rashford have made entire careers out of itThat would be a massive breach of contract and allow us to sue and withhold his registration

It’s very dumb on players parts as all they have to insist on is a release clauseDon't get this ever growing gentleman agreements nonsense. If players are so worried about such agreements they should get it written into their contracts.
