Google Pixel 10 Series (10/10 Pro/10 Pro XL/10 Pro Fold & Pixel Watch 4)

Ordered the normal 10, trading in my three years old 7. Between the £314 trade in and £100 credit works out just under £400. Should arrive next Thursday.

Does "pre order" put anyone else off from buying ?

No. I pre-ordered all my Pixels (1,4 and 7)

Good deal,

With trade in and vouchers, I can get the 10 pro XL for £661 + £100 store credit and Klarna it. Matched with a SIM only deal it would mean I'm not tied into a contract anymore and the £518 they give me for my 8 pro would pay the Klarna monthly fee for the second year, meaning I can upgrade again next year if I wanted for free.

Hmmmm

I was hoping for a deal with the new watch as my very old Huawei that I bought from MM donkeys years ago barely lasts full day. Hopefully there will be some old Pixel 2 or 3 watches on MM in next few weeks as people upgrade :)

Yea, I went from the 6 to the 8pro for a similar reason. My PW2 battery was pants and the pixel 6 did not survive the swimming pool haha. The 8 pro come with a free PW3 so it was a no brainer for me, the PW3 lasts me 3 days.

The PW4 is reported to last 50% longer, which im interested to see real world performance.

just seen it.
2y contract comes at approx £1180 I think
so trading in and buy straight from google, wont save muchwith sim only, unless you pay £5 a month or so...
but no contract...
Spme pages give 100gift card and 250 for trade in... Can always keep old one as a spare for emergencies...
Shame there is no good deal under £40

I'm considering upgrading my 7 Pro with all the early offers. Although it's a tough sell because my 7 is mostly fine. I do struggle with storage occasionally and the battery is showing its age but not terribly.

£402 refund for my 7 Pro is a nice incentive however. I also get £239 store credit thanks to having Google One and the other offer in play. I have no idea what I'd use that for though, I'd sooner use it on the handset itself.

For those who have used Klarna in the past, can you pay chunks off early to reduce the term? I'd buy outright but I have remortgage fees coming in soon.

I'm just trying to work out the best option.

Straight from Google
Total price £661 ( trade in and vouchers)
(Pay a bit more per month with adding a SIM only deal but only lasts 12 months)
+£100 store credit

ID mobile
Total cost around £1180 - £230 trade in = £950
Lower monthly cost but tied in for 24 months
£0 store credit, so buy case / accessories yourself.

If you keep your phone at least 2 years like me and not overly fussed about missing out on the Google store credit then the easiest option is to just upgrade with ID mobile.

Don't really need Google credit...would be nice to get a free case or stand but that's not critical.
Will see what other mobiles I have in spare parts drawer and how much ID mobile will give for them.
Even 100 will do for a case...

Can you trade in more than one?

I've read some people have been sent an additional £150 off code... would have certainly gone for the change if I had that that discount on top of the good trade in values!

Will probably just keep hold of my 8pro for now

I used Klarna for my pixel last year and you can certainly make early repayments. I did it for about six months then cleared the rest of the balance.

Does not look like a big upgrade from P9 Pro. I like the built-in magnet but having a case will probably weaken it.
They estimate £653 for a P9 Pro trade-in. Going to hold-off as I think last time they had decent BF deals with bonus trade in and more freebies

And once more...new contract deals are better than upgrades.
New deal via carphone is better then upgrading

Seems like it would cost me £52 to swap to a Pixel 10 from my iPhone 15 Pro, plus get £100 credit.

Slightly tempted to trade-in my 8 Pro and PW3 for a 10 Pro XL 256GB and PW4 45mm. Could get both for £996 I think it was. The 45W wired charging for the 10 Pro XL compared to the 8 Pro's wireless charging is quite the boost I've been hoping for.
