We are slowly going through TNG right now with the missus. Probably seen it like 3-4 times together over the years.

Neither really. I know more about SW But despite loving sci-fi games, never really watched any but that's because I don't watch much TV in general.
I saw a few TNG though for sure.

All those series you mentioned start out slowly for me but picked up hugely around season 3 and all end decently. (TNG ending felt a bit abrupt).

I'm just re-re-watching the brilliant end of Voyager S03, Species 8472 and the introduction of Seven of Nine, Tertiary Adjunct of Unimatrix 01. :)

Ellie Force was also a very good game which left me wanting more and even though strategy games aren't my particular cup of tea I'm still looking forward to trying this one out.

I hardly watch tv anymore myself. Not had a tv license in years. When i get the time it is usually Netflix or Prime. Sometimes Apple TV.

Try TNG. Excellent tv show. I would say my favourite.
 
I have enjoyed every star trek series going (still need to watch last season of disco and strange new worlds) . it amazing that whilst the visuals on the voyager game are serviceable rather than outstanding .... it still looks better than it actually did in the TV show
PS it doesn't feel right not having the Jery Goldsmith musical score.

I know it's a controversial take as it was canned however I feel ST Enterprise is under appreciated.

you are right tho, over all it's STTNG for me to. Patrick Stewart is incredible, the rest of the cast is great too but JL Picard is imo one of the most iconic front men of any sci-fi show going. it's showing its age now but still a great series and the whole Borg story is brilliant. (plenty of stinkers too. I was never a fan of Q )

Enterprise is not bad (need to watch it again sometime, been a good 15 since I last watched it). It is much better than anything that came after it. Only thing I enjoyed since then is Picard season 3 and that was purely for the nostalgia tbh.

Yeah, TNG cast are awesome. But as you say Patrick Stewart shines in particular. He was nothing like that in ST Picard. In my mind ST Picard is in a alternative universe. Aorry but that was not the Picard we know from TNG.

Borg was great. I also loved the Klingon and Romulan episodes too. Recently watched some of the Klingon one with Worf and his brother Kurn. Toby Todd RIP played that role very well.
 
I am kind of hoping in the next 10 to 20 years we will be able to get AI generated shows so we can continue TNG, DS9 and Voyager era Star Trek with those cast members. Maybe mixing them up a bit at times like we saw Enterprise docking at DS9 etc.

I know everyone won't agree with that. But if done well which the AI would be able to do. Would be awesome imo. Better than the rubbish they make these days.
 
if AI ever got to such levels I think most would be using it to remake the last season of GoT, Voyager for its flaws was good enough !
Looking forward to giving this game a try

Kinda looks like a cash grab imo. Looks a bit basic, the ui looks rough. Dunno what the gameplay is gona be like. Is the 3d ship cutscenes or actually playable, or is it top down stuff which im not really thinking is gona be fun. Plus all the diff systems look the same just the planets and icons moved around a bit and diff colored suns. Will it be more varied i wonder. Will the voice acting be actual voyager cast or recast like some of the 90s games, i think elite force had a diff 7 of 9 but then a patch added her in proper. Just screams unknown developer with a trek licence and low budget instead of a big budget and a well established dev effort. Who knows, ill be reading reviews when its out to decide if worth my time. Big trekie so its gotta be something good i hope to tempt me and the farse that st infinite was lol i hope it doesnt go that way.

Also have u guys seen the vr trek game announced, basically zombies on trek which looks meh imo.
