Summer Transfer Window 25/26 *Sponsored by Bigpig*

As soon as the transfer window shuts, Isak will be full of apologies and back in the team.
He'll probably join Liverpool, score the winning goal that knocks Newcastle out of the Champions League and stand in front of the Newcastle bench and kiss the Liverpool badge, it will spark a huge bumfight on the touchline which spreads into the stands and 34 people will be stabbed to death in the tribal outburst

I don’t see Isak going now, regardless of an offer Newcastle can’t get one striker in atm let alone 2.

It’s too late.

For ourselves I think we should use the time to shift to another option.

Feel Isak is 100% staying now, new contract signed by the international break is my prediction
I could see them accepting 130m from Liverpool and immediately giving Brentford what they want for Wissa. Though tbh, with the way that Ekitike has immediately clicked with the team and league, I'd rather we focused on defence as a priority right now, we cant continue with Konate how he is.

The Saudis went to see Isak yesterday to try and strong-arm him into signing a new contract.

So he'll either stay and proclaim his love for the club, or Liverpool up their bid to £130m and a deal gets done. We shall see.

I'm amazed slot hasn't hauled konate off given how he dealt with Quansah in his 1st game losing a few duels. Given how he started this campaign he will end up costing us points against arsenal.

Guehi has to happen soon. Although I can see man city and chelsea links happening in the next day or 2 as well.

Its probably a bit unfair on the lad, to drop him into such a big match but frankly I'd rather we put Leoni in against Arsenal than Konate. Leoni MIGHT mess up but Konate WILL mess up.

No chance can you start a 19 year old CB who hasn't played a minute for the club in an important six-pointer. I know there's been a lot of youth integration in the Prem over the past few seasons, but CB is never the position that allows it... he will just be muscled off every single ball by an exceptionally physical Gyokeres.

I really don’t see them talking at anything below £150m as they have stated all summer that’s the price, I think they think they would look weak if they accepted less now, but as I said I think a new contract gets signed by next week, but will 100% have certain release clauses in it

Isak is going to follow the trajectory of Victor Isimhen and end up outside the Top 5 leagues at this rate. Much like how Napoli broke their wage structure to keep him with a bumper new contract only to made plans to sell him after 1 year and he ended up in Turkey in his prime. No PL teams went for him in the end.

They have been plenty of young cb's starting in the prem over the past few seasons alone that didn't have 'lots of games' - couple for Chelsea, Dean Huijsen for bournmouth last year, yoro for man utd, all had similar experience of half a season or so elsewhere. Leoni might have a bad game, konate given how he started the season will, he's been horrific in the 3 games so far.
