Eh? Are you suggesting that every time a club bids for a player, and has that bid turned down, any disruption to the player is the fault of the bidding club?
Why are Liverpool at fault for not coming back with an improved bid? They've bid what they want to pay, it's been rejected. That's a totally normal state of affairs in football. What's not normal his him throwing his toys out the pram.
Well liverpool clearly “approached” the player before they had permission off Newcastle as he pretty much downed tools before a bid even went in

Go back and look at every high profile transfer and you'll see the line 'personal terms agreed'. Before talks between clubs start. Trying to act like we've done something 'shady' because it's Liverpool is childish.

Gyokores was told he could go, sporting then played silly beggars over addons which delayed the whole thing which is why gyokores agent ended up forfeiting his fees to get the deal done

And yet you talked to the player before you'd agreed terms with the club, but that's not shady is it becuase it's your club. Gyokeres also downed tools and said he wouldn't play for them, again you don't care becuase it's your club. Same with that wissa lad newcastle want, or Gordon, or any number of other transfers.

I think Isak will stay, but only due to him not being able to leave as Newcastle just can’t even buy a shag in a brothel lately so they have no hope of replacing him.
Paul Merson said the other day that players now, with signing bonuses, huge wages and additions don’t need to worry about paying a mortgage so they can strike for as long as they want too, but keeping fit, fresh and match fit in important in a WC year.
Will he stay on strike? Who knows, but at this late stage even if Liverpool offered £150 million for him Newcastle won’t accept it as they can’t get another player without paying way over the odds.

Couple of reports up here that we have improved our offer and it’s likely to be accepted, not sure how I feel if that’s the case, he scored 14 out field goals in a very poor wolves team, but £55m and add on’s I feel is too much.
