it's a bit like watching England play for most of the 00's and 2010's players just seem to totally freeze under the pressure as the fans expectations are off the scale and they're scared of messing up....so they mess up!

United used to have an aura which won them games on its own, now they have an aura of total panic and fear.

Unironically, it would have a huge (positive) affect. But he'll never do it because he's too stuck on this formation.

Someone with some authority needs to seriously sit him down and have a word. Wilcox, Fernandes as captain - anyone at this point. He's a likeable guy but he's quickly killing the goodwill he built up.

Fans expecting to beat Grimsby classed as off the scale.

Would love to see how much that Grimsby team and bench is worth Vs Uniteds. Those united players look like they don't even wanna be on that pitch. Not what you want 3 games into a season.
 
Fernandes and Mbeumo on at least for some leadership and actual ability to go forwards. Oh yeah that Leon kid on for Dorgu too.

Going to be a big call what he does with Onana. I think he leaves him on tbh.

The Grimsby MD said Sesko's transfer fee was equivalent to 13 years worth of revenue for them.

Not really that surprising though given how silly the money in football is these days.
 
Thing is, nobody in the United team looks bothered. Roy Keane would be beating his team mates around the face with this performance. They just look so unfussed it's incredible.
 
They must know by now whether Lammens is on or not, I wouldn't object to seeing Tom Heaton walk out to make a point to Onana.
