Either way, Eddie will be pulling up trees again this season getting max out of what he has or will get. If we get top 4/5 again this season, Eddie Howe deserves something special, at the very least he deserves the owners to just say here you go, here is 500 million or something stupid, let’s just chin PSR off and really go for it, who do you want?

If a player doesn't want to play for us, he can do one. I'm always happy to take the money and invest in new players who do want to play for the club.

You’re absolutely right no player is bigger than the club, but I think the biggest problem we have now is, in my opinion we have to make a stand, if we’re seen to be bullied into selling for less than we have stated all summer (£150m), the same thing will happen to us next season with any of the stand out players, I have no problem selling Isak to Liverpool but it has to be on our terms not Isak’s or Liverpool’s.

Looks like we've just about agreed a fee with Chelsea for Garnacho, £35-40m.

Seems pretty cheap considering what other players are going for, but I think a lot of clubs are worried he's a bit of a wrong'un.

Antony also going back to Real Betis, but they are being thrifty about it.

Sancho will probably end up on loan somewhere at this rate.

Hojlund most likely to end up at Napoli.

That would be a steal for Garnacho if the fee is to be believed. Clubs are just waiting for united to buckle and swoop in for a feast just like a vulture soaring over an animal taking in its last breaths

We're clearly trying to sign someone and have been linked to two forwards in the last 24 hours.

I'd love to think one of them joins in addition to Wissa staying, but that would be a little surprising.

Going to be a wild few days.

That’s quite the image! But yes, the writings been on the wall as to how these deals were going to go the minute Amorim’s words came out and all that bomb squad nonsense and United not being able to squeeze out a fart without it being written about.

I would tend to agree, but his statement, the Liverpool game with the feeling in the squad and the fact the owners went begging at his house and he still is digging his feet in…. I think he actually is a bit poisonous tbh.

If he doesn’t get his move I fear he may just drift through the season being a misery.

Our team is built on intensity so we can’t afford passengers. I don’t believe Isak would ever give his all for the team, yeh he may get some goals but I couldn’t see a Ronaldo, Suarez etc situation whereby they have an absolute blinder of a last season. I reckon a Isak would just go through the motions to the point he may not even be desperately wanted next summer, especially for 120-150m.
 
If they offer close to £150m you snap their arms off. Unless you are prepared to turn down all offers and have him rot in the reserves/fined. Which is not something you can afford to do with PSR, as much as most of us would like to see him made an example.

not really, said back in June you'd be lucky to get anything over 40 for him given you've made no secret he wont ever play for you again, and his output is below par shall we say when compared to guys going for 50+

We'll have to see, if Newcastles stance is no Isak move for less than 150m and Wolves stance is all offers to be rejected and we are to believe that both of those statements are the truth then neither can happen, if we say that either one of those statements is not set in stone then it must also be the case that the other statement is not set in stone too.

I dont think you guys even want another striker as you keep going after ones that you've been told aren't for sale, and there's Jackson sat around just waiting to pick up the phone from Eddie Howe to come and play for you :p
