If you've got even a rudimentary knowledge of European football you'd have heard of him. He played for Germany in the Nations League for one. I saw a bit of him and thought he looked a bit ponderous. Clearly a strong target guy though.

Well apparently I don't even have rudimentary knowledge of European football then. Seems odd to me in a window where everyone is desperate for a striker that it's taken up till now for his name to be mentioned. Cant be that highly regarded.

Finally a chance to put the rejection FC thing away. This is a bit of a coup in reality. Still mostly potential at his age but he is in the group of players we definitely should be looking at.
Luckily this seems to be going ahead, if he is actually flying in tonight. Been a weird horrid transfer saga but it might all end quite happily, with us getting in what appears to be a very high potential replacement for Isak, alongside hopefully a more of an upgrade back up in Wissa.
That would definitely make the overall transfer business I think very good for our general squad.
And Isak gets his DREAM move to Liverpool… so happy for him !!
