Alien TV series (Alien Earth) : 2025

I'm just waiting for Danny Cordray to lose his **** and rip everyone to pieces with his bare hands. I sense deep down he has the same deep disdain for most of the characters, as I do, if his facial expressions are anything to go by.

Kirsh is definitely giving me Ash vibes, Ash famously admired the xenomorph, calling it the perfect organism, Kirsh seems to be giving that same feeling. I find myself wondering if the Kirsh AI ends up being the blueprint for the Ash AI, or perhaps it even ends up that Ash is Kirsh 2.0

Bishop admired them as well if I remember when examining them.

That would be a pretty cool tie-in if they did that. At the moment I'm just loving his staring and observing everything around him and his veneer of calm. His character is the best thing about the show by a long shot. I want him to bludgeon the prodigy/whizz kid to death in a future episode, without expressing any emotions while doing so :D

To be honest all the recent Alien movies have feature some of the most stupid "scientists" the world has ever seen in their own field. So this might continue the theme of stupid people making the daftest decisions on screen.
Pretty accurate really, recently scientists have informed me that everyone on the planet is going to die unless we all get vaccinated and stand 3m apart and wear masks, other scientists have recently revealed that tomatoes cause cancer and some other scientists have told me that theres structures going 2 miles down below the pyramids and there is at least 1 scientist telling me lately that an alien ship is fast approaching Earth from another star system. Seems a lot of "scientists" are pretty stupid :)

Timothy Olyphant is pretty awesome in most things. He was superb in Deadwood and Justified. For such a slim, not physically imposing person he does menacing and broody very well

I'm terrible with catching up old stuff, but I know he's been in some succesful shows, albeit not recent.

I literally have only seen him in the 2 episodes of the Office USA and
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1464540/ (Not very successful, but I really liked it and was gutted it didn't become a series).

If you havent seen it yet, Justified is well worth a watch the main 2 characters are Timothy Olyphant and Walton Goggins and they bounce off each other superbly

Compared to these three who can't act for bleep

I havent seen them in anything else to fairly judge them, I'd have to watch some of their other stuff. I think Timothy Olyphant is pretty damned awesome but even so he was quite cringey in Scream 2, everyone can have a duff performance. Though, looking at the other stuff those 3 have been in, I dont think theres anything there I would want to watch anyway so I'll never know :D

Watched first 3 episoide on Wednesday night when i was flying back in from Morocco. Watched episode 4 today.

Got to give it, i am enjoying this.

I reckon the Mother will be first to go in the lab/facility

Quite possibly, I also think that nutty I've completely lost my mind Nibs, is going to find a young alien and insist its her baby and go nuts protecting it
I want the alien to rip that crazy ginger haired girl from synthetic limb to synthetic limb. Preferably in the next episode. Solely for the sake of story progression, as there aren't enough episodes left to fully explain all her issues.

It might not be simple PTSD, perhaps there is an underlying issue with the conscious transference...maybe 1/5 fails or maybe eventually they all fail.

Wasnt she the youngest one, Nibs? The one in the wheelchair, I'd have to watch again but I think thats the one she was, she was like 7 years old or something. I think the alien leaping at her face (bearing in mind she is 7) just completely broke her mind.

Pretty sure the girl in the wheelchair is the now the girl who's trying to be the favourite.

Nibs was the little redhead. Looked like the youngest.
