£130m for him is nuts. Hey ho, decent player but I don't see him fitting into Newcastles side that well. Will just take goals away from the other forwards. I don't think Salah is going to have a particularly special season this year due to the changes they have made already and bringing in a striker like Isak won't make that any better.
 
I reckon Liverpool are in a strong position now. They could easily just bid £115m etc, they know we have just spent big on Woltemade and still looking for Wissa etc so that will probably be another 30-40m easily.

We probably kind of need to sell Isak now, so if they wanted to be cheeky guess we kind of have to sell. Power is back in their hands in that sense.

I personally just see this as chapter closing, so whatever, sell him for 110m for all I actually care now. Either way we are getting big money for him and ultimately he is now dead weight at the club. Let's just get it sorted. Been a painful saga. First of many potentially now we are getting that "big club" status. Hopefully in future though, they get a better advice on how to do it.

We always had to sell a big player, so really it is no shock. Looking at the way things have panned out, personalty wise I'm glad it's Isak.

Could be naive, but I hope a Bruno or a Tonali wouldn't play out like this, but who knows. Maybe Woltemade in 3 years time when Bayern come knocking once Kane leaves.....

I've said a few times since last season ended that I believe Salah will be more about assists than goals this year, he'll still get goals but I'm expecting him to end the season with a high number of assists than goals, we've already seen it in the last few seasons that his assists numbers have been rising fast. As he ages his role is changing to reflect that.

I'm not sure that Wolfenstein will want to move to Bayern in 3 years time, I have it on good authority from Bigpig that within the next 3 years Newcastle will have won the league twice, the champions league twice and an FA Cup, so wont be any reason for him to move to Bayern
 
We aren't bidding 130, everything I've read is that 120 is the highest we'll go. Hughes and Edwards master class incoming where we get him for 80 and 35 in addons - and 1st refusal on any newcastle player sold in the next decade :cry:
