I'd be ok with it because of the quality of Guehi, Konate is off his game currently but we know that he CAN be very good (he was last year), so VVD, Guehi and Konate at CB is a nice trio, at RB have Bradley and Frimpong and LB we have Kerkez and Robertson....all of the above are better than Gomez. If I had to choose to keep Gomez but not have Guehi or lose Gomez but have Guehi, I'd take the latter every time and with just 48 hours to go I think the time for fannying about over the transfer is over. Get it done, either pay what they want or do the deal they want, but just get it done.
