Refresh rate settings question

Hi

When setting the refresh rate in windows 11 advanced display settings, you can also set refresh rate in the resolution settings in nvidia control panel, does anyone know if one overrides the other?

They both control the same thing and will reflect whatever is currently set.

Ok, so I could set just one and it would reflect that.

Yeah either or. If you change in one it should reflect on the other. Which you can check or if worried change in both
