mines on the rotor, but I thought smart system used multiple ways to detect how fast your going etc, and eventually the limp mode will kick in at some point.It's where the speed magnet is placed that's the issue. If it's on the brake disc that's fine but if it's on the wheel then they've not made one for that (yet)
On the EMTB forums some was trying some custom magnet modification that affected how the reader pulses or some such.
on the 30 page thread over on emtbforums people are still talking about speedbox and stuff, I don't see anyone talking about the rotor mod.
I know what your talking about, it has some kind of gearing inside that moves the magnet or whatever so it only gets read half the time?
